Our approach on this project was based on the attempt to create a dialogue between the city and the hill. This was achieved by creating a pathway integrated in the natural topography, making the course a part of the surrounding landscape.
Our proposal was to create a living connection with the city in a series of urban situations along the promenade, all the way up to the roof of the hill-building. The inside spaces would also act as a mediation and observatory of the city, becoming a place to appreciate the beauty the landscape from the mountains to the castle and the sea.

The architecture that hosts these functions had to be more than a simple building. The real project for us was the whole pathway, and as a consequence, the architecture was designed and incorporated as a unique line involving the entire hill.
This continuous line, by curving itself and playing with the shapes, would be creating various functional spaces.
